Eggplant with Garlic Sauce

Eggplant with Garlic SauceEggplant with Garlic Sauce Ingredients:

3 tablespoons canola oil
4 Chinese eggplants, halved lengthwise and cut into 1 inch half moons
1 cup water
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons garlic powder
5 teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce

Eggplant with Garlic Sauce Instructions:

Heat the canola oil in a skillet over high heat. Cook and stir the eggplant until soft, about 4 minutes. Stir in the water, red pepper flakes and garlic powder.

Cover and simmer until all the water is absorbed. Meanwhile, mix sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, and oyster sauce in a bowl until sugar and cornstarch have dissolved. Stir sauce into the eggplant, making sure to evenly coat the eggplant.

Cook until the sauce has thickened.

1 c beef broth
1 c water
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic,peeled
1 onion (minced)
2 tbsp minced celery leaves
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 c heavy cream
3 Thin slices Lemon

Broccoli with Garlic Sauce Instructions:

Simmer all ingredients but the cream and lemon slices,covered for 20 minutes. Then strain into another saucepan. Add cream and heat over lowest heat for 3-5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot
with lemon slices on top of your cooked broccoli.

Cheesy Garlic BreadCheesy Garlic Bread Ingredients:

16 oz Unsliced french bread loaf
1/2 c Butter or margarine-softened
2 Garlic cloves; minced
1/4 ts Dried parsley flakes
1 c Swiss cheese; shredded

Cheesy Garlic Bread Instructions:

Slice French bread into 1-inch slices. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; spread butter mixture between bread slices and on top and sides of loaf.

Bake your Cheesy Garlic Bread at 350.

1 (6 pound)  roasting chicken
4 tablespoons butter, softened and divided
15 cloves garlic, halved
1 (14.5 ounce)  can  chicken broth, divided
